The Custom Number is a great way to boost client confidence by sending texts and video texts from a local number in your area. In addition, the custom numbers unlocks the Text-2-Sell feature which is a great tool to help generate leads, capture contact info, and more!
The custom number is included in the CRM and CRM Premier Plans. If you are currently subscribed with our Legacy 'Starter' Plan, you may also purchase the custom number for $2 a month. Follow the directions below to learn how to add a Custom Number.
Note: If you have a number that you would like to use as your Custom Number, you can contact the LionDesk support team at support@liondesk.com to check if LionDesk can port your number. Keep in mind, LionDesk cannot port your cell phone number.
Purchase Custom Number
1) Click on your name and select "Payments and Subscriptions".
2) Click on "Add Custom Number".
3) Type in your local area code and select from the available custom numbers.
4) Confirm your Custom Number is set by checking your Profile Page.
Done!
Anytime you send a text message from LionDesk, your contacts will receive the text from your Custom Number. Your contacts can text or call the Custom Number.
If your contacts text the Custom Number, you will see the responses appear in their contact record and in the LionDesk Mobile App. If your contact calls the Custom Number, the call will be forwarded to the number listed under Phone Number on your Profile Page.
Note: If you are a part of a team, the calls made to the custom number will be forwarded to the contact's assigned user and NOT the owner.
