LionDesk has released a New Task Management Platform!
LionDesk is continuously adding new features and enhancements that improve your overall experience. Our goal is to make LionDesk the ultimate lead management system. A large component of your lead management is task reminders. With the New Task Management platform, users can now create recurring tasks!
Any task reminders created prior to the launch of the New Task Management are stored in a different section in Tasks labeled "Tasks (Legacy)". You can still Complete and Delete any tasks in Tasks (Legacy). To edit a task, you must migrate the task to New Task Management.
In addition to recurring tasks, LionDesk is working on other enhancements such as Calendar Sync that will only be available with the New Task Management. To prepare for the upcoming enhancements, make sure to migrate all your tasks to New Task Management.
You can select to migrate individual tasks or all your tasks. Follow the directions below to learn how to migrate your tasks.
Note: Once you migrate your tasks, they will only be visible from the new version of LionDesk.
1) Open the main menu and click on Tasks
2) In Tasks, you will see a section for V2.1 and Read Only. Click on Read Only.
3) You can migrate all tasks or specific tasks.
If you would like to migrate all tasks, click on the Migrate All Tasks button.
Note: This will migrate all tasks in the list. In the example below, the Migrate All Tasks button will migrate all Upcoming Tasks. Click on All Upcoming to select different types of tasks to migrate.
If you would like to migrate a single task, click on the following Migrate icon.
4) In the pop-up window, click yes to confirm.
You have migrated your read-only tasks to the New 2.1 version. You can now edit your tasks and have access to new task enhancements such as recurring tasks.
